Next we are going to go over the accessibility configuration settings for Minecraft Education.

Immersive reader

The immersive reader is a digital tool that enables the creation of an inclusive learning environment. designed to increase students' comprehension, attention and confidence.

Provide assistance to students with different types of needs with read aloud, translation in over 70 languages, highlighting functionality, syllable splitting, and increased line and letter spacing, among many other things.

Find this icon on the whiteboard texts and on the NPCs to activate it or click on the “i” to display it directly.

Narration

Minecraft Education supports the UI screen reader. To activate it, you must access the configuration and enable the option in Settings > Accessibility.

Touch

If you have a touch device and prefer to play using this functionality, you can do so in Minecraft.

In addition, in Settings and pressing Touch you can configure the touch function, as well as sensitivity, left-handed control or vibration.

Text-to-speech

Enable this feature to convert text to narration and be able to listen to it on audio.

Chat appearance

Customize the chat appearance according to your preferences for font, color, mentions, spacing and much more. You can tailor the content to suit your needs.

Single Sign On

This Minecraft feature allows you to avoid having to enter your credentials every time you want to access the game. The single sign onis also a service that boost the security of your digital identity.
